I wonder if you have any links to a cheap and good dns!
Thanks!

EDIT::
I'm also thinking of buying a domain name!
Which is the cheapest registrar?

depends on what you want really.

1Uhost.com is pretty cheap. I use FutureQuest.com, Doc and some of the other here use DreamHost.com
This one doesn't look bad either. Haven;t looked at it to much though.
A lot of them will do the domain name registration for free when you set up your account.

For domain hosting, I use these.
Simply transfer the name server details to the host and off you go

I've been using recently I use that with Zone Edit for my fee DNS service. It's a nice way to name a home box. You can set up zoneedit to forward anything@yourdomain.com to your normal mailbox and then point your domain name to your home IP (if it's static) If you have a dynamic IP you may have to check one of the forwarding DNS services that monitor your IP when it changes.

UltraDNS is a great DNS host. Its $12/yr and it never fails.

Dotster.com for domain registration. They're usually $15/yr per domain, which isn't the cheapest (found some at 8.95) but they're online domain manager and registrar is easy to work with to modify all the different aspects of your domains. They also provide DNS hosting at $10/yr but I had it, and it is the WORST. It failed at least once a week.

Hostpacket.net for site hosting. I know a guy who hosts on them and it's a real good deal at like $6.95/month for more amenities than most other places provide.

It's always a good idea to check on WebHostingTalk.com and post in the advertising forums for a good deal too.

I host currently with olm.net, but don't reccomend them, as they pack their servers with too many sites, and don't have enough bandwidth to handle them, my site's speed has been compromised one too many times nad I'll be switching to Hostpacket at the end of the year most likely.

www.zoneedit.com free easy good, it's what I use.
As for domain name purchasing I think I got mine on like gkg.net or something like that, do a whois on kewlster.com and you'll see who I did it with.
