Ya, I think everybody here knows what that is by now so I'm not going to explain it. But you may have noticed the link in my sig lately, although I actually haven't been posting very much at all lately. But the point is I was trying to help my dad's site, www.pbehmer.com get to be #1 on google for the search term behmer. It wasn't very hard because the word behmer is in several places in the site, including the url. But lately he's been having a bit of a battle with behmer.com, but he's finally #1, and hopefully he'll stay that way. Anyone else had any successfull google bombing attempts? |

I was wondering why you had two sites there... it all makes sense now. I think I'll go download his music anyway. |

Slime: Thanks for that - I've been tracking the FAQ results for a bit and there was a recent jump in some of our rankings - I thought it was due to a reindex but a shake up of the algorithm makes sense too |

You know, this is a cool topic. I've been struggling to take control of my name on google for some time. Although I don't have a problem with people having the same name as me, it's hard to control which page hits #1 when you search for my name. That explains the page (Ben Swihart) you see when you go to my site now.... I'm mainly competing against my works' home page, which, when redesigned, I'll make sure is rigged to ANTI-bomb google! :P |
