It is updated. Sorry for the delay. Not all of the games have been started yet. So far only 4.

The other thing. I think it is a far practice to resign your games officially, instead of waiting for the forfeit. As far as I can see not everybody is doing it.

I just noticed on the round 2 game pages it says that my game of "Synthetic vs Kriek" was called in favor of me...

I just wanted to let you know that the status should be updated because I won that one a short time after it was called in my favor.

So the result is correct, just not how we arived at it

Just wanted to apologize to my current opponents for the crazy length of time between moves lately. I used to be pretty good at getting at least a move a day in, but the past few weeks have been a bit hectic and things have been slipping my mind. Hopefully this will change soon (like today, when my thesis finally goes to the printers').

Might I inquire as to how much longer this tourney will last? And when/if the next one will start? Just from looking at the times between posts and such, it looks like it will be a good while, but I'm not in any kind of hurry, so it's all good.

And what does it take to get involved in it? Will be a good excuse for me to start playing chess again

The time it takes to complete the tourney all depends on the players involved. I just wait until all active games are done before moving to the next round. However, the next round is the FINAL round and we get to see who is top dog in chess here. yeeeeehaw!

Once this tourney wraps up, I'll do a little informal survey to see what kind of interest there is in another tourney, so stick around and cast your vote at the appropriate time!

It's nothing more than fly by the seat of your pants chess playing. Suho grabbed some early advantages, and I am now just trying to even the score some. Tough game to say the least.

I have this kinda dichotomy when it comes to playing games online... (Or something like a dichotomy... I don't really care much for Scrabble either )
1.) I despise most every turn-based game I've ever played;
2.) My computer can't handle online RTS games (even offline ones that require a good bit of resources)

...So I'm open to suggestions (Other than buy a new computer )

My game with Ven is already suffering due to my lack of time for thinking.

I'll finish my game with Ven (and probably lose horribly), and I might bow out of round 4.
