Hey guys and gals,
When I go to run a game like Medal Of Honour Allied Assault....it cannot load the OpenGL subsystem saying:
Initializing OpenGL driver
...getting DC: succeeded
...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 )
...35 PFDs found
...GLW_ChoosePFD failed
...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 )
...35 PFDs found
...GLW_ChoosePFD failed
...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT
...restoring display settings
...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3)
...shutting down QGL
...unloading OpenGL DLL
...assuming '3dfxvgl' is a standalone driver
...initializing QGL
...WARNING: missing Glide installation, assuming no 3Dfx available
...shutting down QGL
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

Skaarjj reckons it is my NVIDIA GeForce MX 400 card that needs updating Ive tried that and installed files into the folder I think where my cards drivers belong but nothing seems to be solved.
Any ideas as to what it is, am I doing the right thing, links to things that can fix it?????

We have done so.

Yeah its all good now...I reinstalled the driver for it which is older than the current drivers for the card yet it works like a gem....everything loads fine.

Yeah, I keep a lot of different driver versions for my videocard for this reason.
