they probably think it blew apart because the SRB took off on their merry way when the left one blew... I think I read that on a 'common NASA myths'or some shite website a while back... |

I don't believe this will bring the end to NASA. I do, however, believe this is the beginning of the end to an outdated shuttle design. I expect an almost complete revision of NASA's approach to safety issues. The next generation of shuttle has been discussed for years and is long overdo. I mean, the current shuttle is as old as I am and just look at the kinds of technological and aerospace advancements we've had in my lifetime. |

It is really sad to hear that news. The shuttle was flying 21.000km/h. It is out of imagination. I really wish this will never happen again. |
