mr.maX: I see what you're talking about now. The only "Tag Designers" I saw were those under the Common menu. I still think it would be great if you could somehow move away from using "Tag Designer -" on 28 menu items and just combine it into a single feature, but if you cannot, it's still a very good application despite its Microsoftishness.

I've been very happy using MAX's HTML Beauty++ ME for quite a long time, and now I'm going to be even happier using 2004. =)

The additions and alterations you've made are excellent. I'm very pleased to see the advanced syntax highlighting and that the use of the ternary operator in my PHP code no longer screws up the highlighting in the rest of the file. I'm also glad to see that the Goto (Ctrl + g) is much more accurate than in the previous version. The ability to highlight matching (, {, etc. is nice and I'm sure will save me a lot of time looking for the one I forgot.

I felt a bit stupid that I spent so much time looking for the menu item that would let me switch the resource panel from the right side to the left which is where I got used to having it... then I realized that I could just click and drag it over.

While I'm on the resource panel is there any way for me to change the default for the DDM with the file types in it? I would really like it to default to All Files (*.*) instead of Web Related Files.

All in all you've made what I felt an excellent progam even better. You've certainly made sure Beauty is going to be my default editor for quite a bit longer.

I just had to say that I just downloaded the CHM PHP manual and that it's just awesome to have that integrated into the program like that.

DL-44, final version will hopefully be released this weekend (or maybe Monday, but that's it). Image Beauty is almost ready and that should be all that had to be done for this release.

Suho1004, I hope that you'll switch to HTML Beauty, too!

Metahuman, I've thought about grouping all tag designer under one menu item labeled "Tag Designers" and removing the prefix from menu items, but that will break the concept that main menu has the same structure as Power Toolbar (items from Common to Script in the main menu). Anyway, I'll give some thought about all this and see what will come up in version 2.1.

Butcher, the problem with ternary operator has been fixed in the old HTML Beauty, but I never found the time to upload the updated parsers file... Regarding Resource Panel, besides moving it like toolbars, you can also resize it, although there's no visible splitter like in previous versions of HTML Beauty. The same goes for Results Panel, it's also resizable and moveable. And last, Resource Panel and Open dialogs show "Web related files" filter by default, because HTML Beauty is a web related editor Anyway, you can easily extend file types that qualify as Web related by tweaking file masks in Program Options and checking web related file types checkbox.

And now another tip about integration - the same technique can be applied for calling appropriate page of W3Schools web site (context-sensitive), but I leave that to you to discover...

How do you get HTML Tidy to cleanup the code for you? Also, is there a PHP Tidy? That would be even more useful for forum administrators.
