I know it would totally rub certain individuals the wrong way but I personally think it'd be cool if they'd include support for connecting email to an exchange server... *ducks head waiting for other Asylumites to throw stuff* |

Boudga: In thunderbird? There might be patches/plugins/extensions that could do that. Why are you ducking? Is that some MS server? |

Yeah, usually the Linux and OpenSource people get testy when MS is mentioned... |

I just noticed the ftp.mozilla.org mirrors page. /!\ not all the mirrors are actually up to date, but check 3-4 ones and you'll find FireFox. Nonetheless, with the rush on Mozilla's official mirrors, it's still worth to pick it on my mirror if you have a broadband connection ( ~60Kb/s ) |

FWIW, I tried download off of your mirror poi and I was getting a whopping 0.5 kbps (56k modem here). The main download page on the mozilla site worked just fine though. |

For the Extension error. If you are using firebird and then go to install firefox you will have problems if you did not disable all of your extensions in firebird before you did the install. quote:

If you're not using the default theme is rather normal. Give the theme author some time to fix them with the new release. Until then, turn back to the default theme or pick one that is certified to work with FireFox 0.8 |

Thunderbird (being the email client), which I think should be renamed to ThunderFox, as mentioned above, doesn't actually "intergrate" with firebird per say. The mozilla group realised that many people didn't want intergrated web browsers and email clients, they were different applications and should be kept as such. Which has spawned the seprate product lines we now have today. |

While I personally still dig the power of MS Outlook proper, I agree that Thunderbird really kicks booty. I set up relatives that need technical help, with Thunderbird, initially to keep them away from the inherent vulnerabilities in Outlook Express, but have found it to be a great free email client for all the reasons that Cameron mentions. |

Hmm, Mozilla Phoenix becomes Mozilla Firebird becomes Mozilla Firefox - Mozilla really needs to secure an original name to avoid being forced to change it again. Mozilla states the name changes are due to undisclosed legal reasons, uh huh. |
