I've got an image and I only want to have a pagelink when you go over a specific part of that image. The way to do this is to add a hotspot, but now comes the problem. I want to have the text in the NavBar changed when you go over that hotspot, but I don't get it done. When I go over the whole picture, than it is no problem, but when I only want to use the hotspot I keep getting the address of the page that is linked to the hotspot.
The question is, how can I add a behaviour to a hotspot only and not to the whole image. If you wanna know what image it is , surf to www.crosswinds.net/~tbartels/main.html I want the blue spots on the interface as hotspots.
Thanks
------------------ |

You could always make the images that have the blue spots in them into image maps. That way the rest of the image would be off and the blue spot / hot spot would run your mouse over.
|

I think an image map would definately be your best answer.
Thats what I used for my site http://bitdamaged.tripod.com
click on the "My Past" section and check out the arrow. thats all done with image maps. If you are not familiar with them you should check them out they can ad a lot of really cool functionality combined with JS.
------------------ |
