Why is it that when straight text is placed inside a layer Netscape places a break after each word when printing?
------------------

I placed a table inside the layer as a temporary fix but the whole reason I started using layers was due to their absolute positioning qualities. I looked on dansteinman.com for the answer but couldn't find anything pertaining to the problem.
------------------

Try adjusting the width and property of your layer. If the width is to small. it would cause the line to break. Let me know if this helps........

Yesterday I noticed that in Netscape 4.0 browsers (PC) the text inside a
layer appears ok on the monitor, however if you print the page Netscape
breaks after each work in the layer forming a left justified line of
words down the left hand side of the printed page. BTW the width of the layer is plenty wide!
How can I fix this bug without resorting to inserting a table inside the
layer?
Boudga

------------------

Hmm, guess I don't print very often, never noticed that problem. I'll experiment with that today.
-doc-

Did you ever come up with a fix for this?

I don't really ever print anything from the web, but I have the same problem with Netscape when the browser is resized. Any fixes for that one?
What care I how time advances? I am drinking Ale today. -- Edgar Allen Poe
