Preserved Topic: mailto - problem (un do able) (Page 1 of 1)

HI !

I just wonder if any of you wizards
could help me out here ...

I want to make a Form with 3 textfields (Adress: , Subject: , Message
and 2 button (Send , Clear)

The form's purpose is to make it easy to email
people from the webpage , naturly I understand
they will have to push the "Send" button in their
Email application but that should be all they'd have to
do there... The Adress,Subject and Mail contence
should allready be filled in, when the mail program pops up !

Do I make any sence at all ?
well.. if I do and if any of you
know a way to do this, please
lemme know aaight ? =)

i don't know if you can do more than one field at a time with plain html
mailto:somebody@somewhere.com?subject=hi

Airo, I already answered to your question, but whole topic was lost because Asylum has been transfered to a new server yesterday. Anyway, I wrote a script that does what you want and you can find it here: http://www.max.co.yu/ozone/js_formmail.html

BTW There's one small limitation and that is that message cannot be very long, because it is being passed as URL...
