It ain't all that special but I think it's cool.

My New Toy
Note: The matched X/Y speeds (50,50) scroll smoother in most browsers.

Work's in IE4/5/6?, NN4, and Mozilla/NN6.

Well, I still have to script a special offset for NN 4 cause he doesn't want to play match-up correctly but that shouldn't be too hard.

It's an interesting idea when you think about the possibilites of web site expansion, you now have two directions to flow in. And you can create little walk through chains that loop back around onto the main site 'web'. Or maybe a traversabul map like one of those pick-a-path adventures... heh, I like me new toy.

Obviously it's no where near finished yet. I still have to script the 'docking' features (so you can't scroll normally) and the speed up and slow down on transaction stuff should make it just that little bit spiffier.

I'm trying to keep it as configuarabul <-sp? as possible though. Currently, all you need is a named div and a text link and you can scroll right to it at any speed you desire. So far I havent had to hard-code any of the options that I didn't want to, and I'd like to keep it that way....

Anyways. I just thought Id share my new toy in progress. It's the first 'real' thing I've ever done with DHTML

We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.

Ok, hopefull Version II will work better....

I've still got a fair ammount of work to do on this but I'm getting there. I've also worked out a more accurate way to move the window arround but I havent gotten around to scripting it yet.

Comments or Suggestions are welcome.
