Ach, damn. I'll have to drop Thomas a note, I wonder just how much bandwidth and storage space his site uses up? It's a bitch trying to make any site like that (or this, even! ;-) make money, that's the maiun reason I never really tried; you end up having to make the "hard decisions", I don't want any of those!

The end of DHTMLCentral.com?

As most of you know the internet business is no longer what it once where. Currently this site provides no income at all which is the main reason that I have not been able to use the time needed to finish and keep the site updated.

The hosting expenses (due to the high amount of computer power and bandwidth the site uses) are now to high for me to handle. If someone out there is able to get some cheap but good hosting for this site I might rearrange the site and move it there, if not I am afraid I will have to take down the site (

To bad though, because I really think the host I have now is great.

sad but true, .....he made very nice work during years...!

Man that's a bummer! I really liked his documentation on understanding dHTML. His method of teaching that helped me understand more than anything that I had read so far.

Hopefully he will find a new host soon.

Crap! I can't even get to it. Is it already taken down? This is a very grim turn of events.

I got an error 404 too. That was a great resource for understanding DHTML.

All, if anyone can get to Mr. Brattli, tell him about www.phpwebhosting.com. They are pretty darn good with low cost, unmetered hosting ($9.95 a month). I know several developers and designers who host most, if not all, of their sites there.

Let's try to help keep this site alive... I had been there several times myself, and I hate to see a good resource go away.
