Anyone here take the brainbench online certification tests? They're kind of cool - I just took the HTML 3.2 test and got a 3.34... which makes me "competent" - I'm just soooo special (sarcasm, ok? :-) |

I'm not going to bother with this again, as last time I took it I was assured that I was only "barely adequate" in HTML and Javascript. I don't need this kind of abuse! ;-) Seriously, I suppose that if I had to go out and do job interviews it's be nice to get a nice high score, but I'd want to study somewhat, for me, I code by ripping bits from my own works, and I guess I don't always have the correct syntaxes memorized exactly, heh. |

as someone who interviews web programmers, i'd agree that the general concepts are much more important than knowing syntax. especially when it comes to html 3.2. |
