You're dealing with madmen, maniacs, and lunatics here so we're ALL going to comment (well, maybe all of us) on your interface. Looks good, is it up and running on the net yet, or?

not yet, it's just a design to look and see what I can do ( I am a beginner). So I would like to have some critical eyes on it and look and see what I can improve for the future.

The cruical part is how it's inegrated on the net (or whatever it's used for). As for design, there's ALWAYS room for improvement which is why Doc is and always has strived for perfection.
Are there rollover images to be used for this interface?
Later

First - I like it. Very good for first time especially. Like 2win said, how it's implemented is important too though.
(now the criticism - all just my picky preferences of course)
I think the round blue buttons are a little "washed out" looking - maybe they could be punched up a little, maybe add texture to the grey behind them too.
Also, the blue bars and the wires at the bottom - nice touches, but they seem too bright for the rest of it. I would lower the brightness and increase the contrast on them, maybe increase the drop shadow from the body on them too.
I think it would be cool if you had rollovers for the side buttons that changed the image in the center sphere (like wrap an image over the sphere).
As for future improvements, my only thought is to try and change the balance between functional/nonfunctional areas of the interface - strictly because of loading times.
Any-hoo....good job, hope you get it online and let us look at it in action.
------------------

Cool cool, I'll agree with most of the comments listed here, and add a few of my own to help push this thing to the next level, OK? The grey background to the interface, you could try wrapping a texture over that surface, fill a layer and set it to overlay for instance, and get a LOT more interest in that shape. The wires need more dirt, they are just a tad too bright. This looks downsized, I'd simply LOVE to see it in operation, somewhere on the web, fer instance? :-) Look into the texture wqrapping thing, I talk about it in my tutes, and this piece is simply crying for it, and you are 98% there, just gotta play with different textures now. Try maybe a layer of noise inj that shape, maybe give the noise a wind filter, or perhaps a motion blur? Next version, gimme gimme!
Your pal, -doc-

Thanks you all for your comment, I am now busy to improve these parts (cables, textures etc.) so it looks even better. It is always handy to have some second opinions so you can be pointed on things that I didn't see so far. As for the interactive part of it, I am busy to learn (D)HTML, but the idea's I have for this interface are:
1 role over buttons
2 in the sphere in the centre will change as well when you go over the buttons
But this will not be an actual interface that I am going to use on my future webpage, it's just a little workshop.

I seem to be having trouble getting some of these image files in the forum. Are they broken links or am I having server difficulties?
YES!! Finally, I'm maniacal!
------------------
