Better, dirtier, I like that. The background may be too busy, too much noise, it takes away from the interface itself. I'd mute that down just a bit, possibly try something else entirely there.<P>Here's a tip, I'm looking at the horizontal bars, down by the wires. The way the shading is, it's dark at the bottom, light at the top, right? That's correct, in a basic way, but let's go one step further. When we get to the hottest higlight at the top, let's *not* have that top line white. Take the last three pixels and make them get darker again, so it's a big dark bit on the bottom, then it get's light, and then at the very last it gets dark again. This happens in the real world, because that pipe is round, it wraps around *under* the part we see! Let me make an exaple, I'll post it in a sec...<P>-doc- |
