alright, i'm sitting down, looking at this PS, and it seems overwhelmingly technical. I've tried to read tutorials on this thing, but too many leave out little details that deal with 'How to's' where most deal with 'do-this-but-ya-gotta-have-a-lil-prior-knowledge-before-trying'
[and i have tried].
So, to all the pros, techs and PS junkies:
where can i find a turorial for a beginner on PS????
please gimme a hand, imma confused as hell.
Thanks,
Summ

The Photoshop Manual is a great place to start for the absolute basics. As things are explained in the manual, give them a try yourself.
If that doesn't work try the book Photoshop for Dummies. That gets even a little more basic than the manual.

go to a search engine like Google and enter 'photoshop basics' into it. I garuntee that at at least one you will find what you arelooking for. That is how I got started.

You know, I always liked the Adobe Classroom in a Book series. I think that's how I really got to know Photoshop. And how I learned Premiere.

Yes! The "Classroom" books are awesome, I started with the "advanced" book, way back when. It had six silly-sounding lessons that ended up showing me all I needed to know about Layers, Channels, and Masks, which is pretty much the core of photoshop. A really good book, a great series, hearty recommendations from DocOzone. Thumbs up to that one.
