Hi, everyone. Like most of you here, I've been coming to Ozone for well over a year now. And since that time I have done practically every single Photoshop tutorial on the WWW. Harnish Studios has gone through several incarnations before I finally came up with a design I was happy with. That, of course is what brings this post out of the woodwork =^)
Anywho, I'd appreciate some criticism and feedback (or flames if you prefer =^) on my site http://www.harnishstudios.com
|

It's very interesting. Something about it kind of cries out for movement, contrasting colors can imply movement without actually having to move. You've obviously have a very good grasp of Photoshop and your abilities. Personally I would like to see the interface come off the page and jump towards me a little more. Allgood and Maa (in the Ozones section) use the same type of muted palette, and yet the design pops off the page. But that is only my opinion.
|

Yes, I like the design quite a bit. I'll agree with f1 as well, but I would mainly like to see a little more color....maybe more contrasting highlights, maybe some color in the buttons. Other than that, I give it two thumbs up....
|

Thank you all for the comments! Yeah, it definitely does cry out for some movement. I'll work on that when I do the next design in about six months or so. =^)
Anyone else want to commment? |

Ooh! Ooh! I do!
I like the color and use of light and highlights. One diagonal line up near the upper-left seems a bit jagged, but it's not really a big thing. Some of the mouseovers don't work on the left. I like it. |

Slime- Could you clarify that please? The mouseovers work fine in both NS and IE. Which version of those browsers are you using?

|

Whoops, I realized later that It was just loading time. If you're preloading the images, then it was just a lack of patience on my part. =)
If you're not preloading the images, you should do that. |
