One day, I was playing with Photoshop and after hours of experimenting, I finally came up with these images. Comment, please.

Hi Slime,
I'm shure that the environment in which one learns a second language is primordial in providing proper incentive and stimulation, is there anybody in the class that provide further mutual support in practicing after class? <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/biggrin.gif"> <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/biggrin.gif"> <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/biggrin.gif">

I feel ignorant!
The window for layers, once it appears, doesn't show "new layers" in black! it's tone on tone!
What do I do?

Ok, you might not be set on RBG Color, so...
On the top, click on Image > Mode > RBG Color.

Make sure its not index color...
It should work now.

The only place where I've found something to do with RBG is in File in
"RBG Setting" and the rest I don't have a clue what they're talking about!
I tried what you suggested and ALL the options are tone on tone none of them are "active"!!!
BTW Thanks for helping me.

Ok, this might sound dumb... but have you started an image yet? File > New, and then set the size however you want it...

Sorry, I think I forgot to tell you that...

*giggles* I believe we overlooked that essential component!
I guess I have to accept that I'm virtually in kindergarden and don't know sh*t!!!
So essentially you're suggesting that I get whatever Image from any of my files and work with it?
How do I get the image at photoshop? Through File?

No no, we didn't get this _far_ just to start with someone elses image, make a new one, file new, set it to white background, about 400 x 400 pixles, then do the instructions!! I'll get this right yet.

Thanks for translating in my absence!
Guys?
I'd like to participate to the new project from Cyber you know the quadrant thing?
I'm at a loss trying to figure what my world would be like (although at this stage if all I have to worry is ideas!) I'm more preocuppied about having the skills to make it happen. Dan as you know you have a fairly good estimate of where I'm at!!! Could you suggest beginner level, or do I go with the ideas and ask info as I go along?
Dan BTW I've done the exercise with the colored circle (and squares and ovals) with various stages of transparency (it looks like hell!) *giggles*
and got permission to use the pic from Peter "Moon and Stars". COOOOOL!
Have a good day guys!

Ok, start by selecting the shape you wanna reflect, then copy (ctrl+c) and create a new layer. Paste the immage here, and move it to where you want the reflection, next, flip the immage horizontally, and vertically. Now, go edit > transfrom > Perspective, and stretch it a little bit, and pull one side a little up. (To make it look like its laying on the water). Now, you're pretty much done, set the layer to overlay, and change the transparency, or, if that doesn't look good, just leave it normal, and change the transparency. You might want to brighten it up a tad too!
