Preserved Topic: Help Please?

Can someone help me on making this image transparent because everytime I do it with photoshop 5.0 all i get is something totally screwed up The way I usually do it is by making it an indexed color images, and then go to GIF 98 export, and pick out the colors one by one. This is where i tend to mess up! Any suggestions on doing this otherwise?

Your gif images are not being seen, they're the little IE red X things

Try looking at the Doc's Handson (www.ozones.com/handson) and also DBM has a great tutorial thats easy to follow (www.designsbymark.com) if you need any more help just ask. You seem to be getting the hang of things now.

The easiest way to quickly export transparent images is by going into Photoshop and go to the HELP>Export Transparent Image. That way you can just specify your selection, or the transparent layer, etc. to become transparent.


But it is TOO easy for most people to use! Every one wants to do everything the hard way!

I just tried that but all it did was screw up the colors and didnt give it any form of transparency <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/frown.gif">
