I thought all you photoshop junkies might want to take a look at this article. I haven't read it myself so I cannot give much of a review. I will get to reading now, and I am sure everyone will discuss their opinions ehh.....

hah i have been pestering adobe almost bi-weekly since i started using photoshop for "layer folders". i am surprised that they didnt remove that tool suggestion section from their site. of course they could have always directed any mail from me right into the trash too....hmmm...

its about time ehh, dont worry you dont have to thank me....lol.....i have heard so many people complaining about this missing feature, so well i am sure we all played an important role ehh? lets just be happy that it is finally included.

Wow, layer grouping! Up to now, I had to create a new layer, fill it with a bright yellow, give it a name and turn it off just to provide a visual cue where one group ended and the next began. Now I can hide whole groups if I don't need them! Woohoo!

Now, if they only included guide sets, I'll buy *two* copies.

i find that hard to believe... if anything, adobe's biggest problem is they don't make drastic changes to their product. they stick with what they have, and maybe explore one or two more areas... i find it kind of frusturating, i'd like to see a decent amount of development.

Photoshop 6 is missing a few features but there also gaining a lot of new features also. I dont have a clue about it being slower then 5.5 but I guess that would make sense because overall there are going to be more features in 6 then there was in 5.5.

The features do look fairly good though. I think they out weigh everything that was lost in the update. Has anyone in this forum used a copy of it yet? Beta?
