OK I was playing around there are tutorial on eye balls all over the place, I can't seem to get a mussel look like on the side of the eye ? the tendons that hold the eye in, I try to make a line and play with it in another image ? define it ? then past it in to that part of the eye but that?s not working? Do?s any one have a good mussel tutorial like the tendons in the rest of the body ? I?m going for a mean look. OH I?ll fix the eyelids later just needed to have that crap there for the illustration. Thanks for any help!!

Hmmm...I'm not entirely sure, but if you tried creating lines up and down in a perfectly square image, and then apply the polar coordinates filter to it...rectangular to polar. This will turn them into a circle with the lines going out from the centre. select a circle around them, and cut another circle out of the centre where you want the pupil to be, copy and paste into your eye image.

For more information on the polar coordinates filter...go and have a look at Liquid's Polar Coordinates Tutorial on the Gurus Network.

Are you wanting muscles to be shown in that picture? Or do you have something else in mind?

Muscle tissue is easy to do.. especially if you have a stylus

Just pick a purple/red coplor and draw some lines in the direction you want the muscle to be, then add some darker lines, and then a few yellowish ones. I don't like using filters, so if you are looking for something like that to help, sorry.

Here is a very, very quick example. It is not accurate.

I have a few URL's on the anatomy of the eye if you are interested. I've been recently doing eyes myself, though in 3D. But the textures were painted with Photoshop

There was a thread about this just a few days ago...Human Shield's signature is probably the best representation of the eyeball and surrounding skin. Here's my eyeball: http://www.liquid.focalhost.com/images/eyeball.gif

Sorry the text covers the majority of the image... I've still got the old psd file on my home machine somewhere. Also, here's the image I looked at when I made it originally...
