Preserved Topic: gif89a Export... (Page 1 of 1)

I've been working back and forth between Flash and PhotoShop all day.
I just went to export with gif89a.... and it wouldn't let me.
The option is completely grey'd out. I re-booted.... still happening though.
Everything else is fucntioning perfectly...
any thoughts?

only thing I cna think off is to check the mode of your image?... has to be indexed I believe before gif89a is available.

Also maybe the plugin has become corrupt somehow?.. dig around in your adobe folder, plug-ins, and locate the gif89a Export plug in. Rename it or move it out of that folder and replace it it with a fresh copy from you oem adobe disk.

Well.... I re-booted again because Flash started having the hiccups as well....
don't know why ..... but it's workin' now..

no probs.. sounds like maybe your whole system was getting bogged down a bit.. have ya been a good boy recently and scandisked and defragged?.. maybe its time to spring clean! heh

You're absolutely right.... it is time for a little defragmentation...
I've been husting and bustling though, hoping to finish my site before I do that.
Had a few good things go my way while I was working on it today..... and I've been just sittin' here fumbling through the rest of it all day.
I was shooting for a release in about 6 hours....
...not gonna happen.
I've got some JavaScript searching to do, as well as making up a pre-loader.
I'm gonna be busy tomorrow.... then it'll be back to normal work.....
..looks like it may get pushed off for a while now..
That's ok... the world's not going to come to a screaching hault if I don't finish it soon anyway....

Now Flash is playing the same game with "Import".
I'd laugh about it if it wasn't 4:30 in the morning and all I had was one graphic left to import....

Nothing like a nice wholesome scan of your drives followed by a healthy defrag.. hope your upto it! heh
