You'll find with the mac, most of the quickkeys are activated with the 'apple' button, which is placed a bit more handy nearer the rest of the keys! I tend to park my left thumb on it and do bunches of things in a row, I frequently can't reach on my PC, the control key is too far away and I need two hands!
