Preserved Topic: Shiny thing...what do you think?

I think this is the first time I have ever dared to post any piece of 'art' (for definition see here ) in this PS section...
With all of this talk lately about eyecandy I thought that I'd see what kind of shiny things I could do...sans eyecandy....

This has to be one of the best chrome tuts I've ever seen. Some of the stuff didnt work though and I had to improvise a little. You'll see what I mean. Or maybe I just dont know s#!t.

Skateboards or Nazis....what kind of choice is that?
Really though, I had no idea that symbol was associated with skateboards and only vaguely aware of its use in Nazi Germany...no meaning behind it whatsoever. Just a shape that was simple enough to let me play and complicated enough to make it worthwhile...nothing more, nothing less.
(as a sidenote, if I were supporting Nazis I probably would have picked a swastica...and if I were supporting skateboards I would have chosen...hmmmm...Tony Hawk. Imaging that, a super shiny Tony Hawk...maybe that'll be my next attempt...)

Hmm, how is that related to Nazis at all? It looks like a templar cross to me.

I think they were thinking of a Maltese Cross.. It`s close.
