Hello,

I'm just getting into actions... very cool stuff.
Everything seems to go well, I'm jumping between a channel selection, setting the foreground, doing a fill and so on...
However, 2 things seem to be behaving weird:
1) after selecting a channel and than performing a delete on the current layer, not all is deleted, I am forced to repeat delete several times to actually achieve the results I am looking for. Simulating this outside of the action, it works fine.
2) after selecting a channel, setting the foreground color, and than doing a fill, the color result is slightly different than the actual foreground color (it is a darker shade). Again, performing these same actions manually and everything works fine.

So.. is it just me, or are actions sometimes unpredictable?

Thanks, Karl

Ha! wouldn't you know it... immediately after this post... I discovered my problem. Geez sorry for the post, here was the problem>> I was altering a current channel with a the current selection by filling it with the foreground color (and here was my problem - i had lost my foreground color, it use to be white but now was a shade of grey; hence, the fill back on the real layer was coming through as a shade of this grey...) I fixed the problem by implicitly setting the foreground color on my channel to white before the fill.

Hey, thanks for the help! : )

..errr, wondering if this also fixes my delete problem
