It IS supposed to be burnt, right? The background behind him seems to lack the detail that the foreground has, but I suppose you want people to focus on the angel and not what's going on behind him. It just seems like there should be a charred battlefield or rolling hills in the background, and all I see is sky. Beautiful details!, and yeah, I can't read what the words say, plus the page doesn't seem to bring up a scrollbar, so I had to resize the window to see it all.
