I appreciate your help on this topic mbrigde, but Im afraid the effect Im hunting is a much much more heavy/strong zoom effect. |

Just gave a another go with the radial blur. I was able to move closer to the tunnelvision, but still the graphic requires much more perspective. |

Wow. Anybody else getting mixed signals? |

Erhm, ok the description of the requested technique/effect was far from satisfactory...but mixed signals?? |

experiment a bit? you need to experiment alot me thinks well alot more than a bit that is! |

Yeah, mixed signals. Binoculars, 180°, tunnel vision, etc. -- I'm at a loss. Several of your descriptions seem to go in several different directions. |

I replace my old picture with a new one using WJ's displace method. I think this is more what you're looking for. |

LOL mbridge. Good show, and I think you only have to invert the Layer Mask. I have this bad tendency to save Untitled-1.psd all the time, which only serves to confuse me at times. So I think I made another boo-boo in my above post with regards to inverting R & G. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a boo-boo. |

Well...I didn't follow your method really...I'm pretty good with the old displace myself. Just wanted to give you the credit you deserve! |

Sorry I haven't been able to answer before now, but I had to get my 5 hours sleep. |

Even though my above example isn't *exactly* what you are looking for ("not recessed enough"), I suspect you can use the technique to get *exactly* what you are looking for. It's a real simple trick involving Polar Coords that I showed to Kruzr many moons ago, and can be used to recess as much as you want. |

Polar Coordinates (rectangular), rotate canvas, motionblur or wind, polar coordinates? |

No, that`s something completely different. |

Oh dammit, this is one of those things that just won't leave ya alone isn't it? I need a tunnel to look at now. Here's a far from perfect attempt. Stayed away from displace cause I'll get lost for days in there and this is not a good time for that. Tech slop is very cool btw WJ, some choice morsels there. PO- if this is what you're after I'll try to remember how I got there.. mostly gradients and various blurs amd such. |

This is what I managed to create with polar coordinates and blurring. |
