i am in the process of learning flash, and what i have done is design my interface in photoshop and then copy/paste the "shell" into flash, minus the buttons. However, when i copy and paste into flash, my images are getting completely butchered... They lose total quality and the edges are all choppy and blurry. This presents a problem for me because each image that I copy/paste into flash is blurred in some wierd and unique way and images that are supposed to sit next to each other and have seamless borders are now, really obviously sticking out like a sore thumb. Is there any way to preserve the quality when you move images from photoshop to flash? I don't care if it degrades the quality on save, but at least make it so i can work with it.

On a side note, so far, I think that the interface in flash is far less user friendly than in photoshop. I wish adobe would make a flash creation program. Macromedia is really getting on my nerves with this one.

Photoshop 6? save for the web - PNG 24, trans on.
Flash 5 ? Import and place on the pixel (not like x0.4 but x0.0) using the info box.

If you find Flash still crunches an edge of your image, make an extra 1px (possibly transparent) border around it before save, seems dumb but it works.

Yeah...exactly Weadah...I used Flash a bit and thats what I found that PNG is the best format to import the images.
