Im new here and was working on a sig. Im 16 and want to go into a Computer Graphics career ( I think its fun) but the only problem is that im terrible at it. The only good stuff i do comes out of tuts. but back to the problem... My friend is working on a new logo for www.socomxtreme.com and i made a really crappy one but i need some ideas for a new type of gamey site logo heres what i did in like 5 - 10min |

the legs where cropped out in the orignal pic I used the crt + alt + x command thinggy that I learned in a tut |

quick tip - a logo doesn't usually have a photo. it is more conceptual. some sort of silhouette or outline of a soldier would work better, in my opinion. |

I think the most glaring difficulty you're facing there is a complete lack of consideration for color interaction and mechanics of the design. |

If I recall correctly, Doc started with a font, and took it into illustrator to alter the paths into what he wanted. |
