Preserved Topic: Asylum.aco

I've had this just sitting around for the longest time. I nabbed the more important colours, and a few that I've never used. The only colour not in there is the red average commonly used for sigs. Maybe should be offering this in the sig forum instead - all I use these colours for is sigs.

Drop it into or nearest equivalent:
Photoshop 6.0\Presets\Color Swatches
If you get it in the right directory, then the ACO should be accessible with the Colour Swatch palette drop-down.

If anybody has any problems with it being an ACO instead of a ZIP, especially Mac users, let me know.

Does anyone know if the .aco can be used with Gimp? If it can where does it need to go? I tried putting it in "Palettes" but upon refresh I recieved a "Magic Header Not Found" error.

Do I need to perform a conversion?

Any ideas?

Thanks. IE5 Mac downloads it fine, but Safari tries to convert it to text. I reported the bug like a good little beta user.

Yeah, I had the same converting to text issue on mozilla as well. I am sure it is just a mime type thing. ACO might be a recognized text type extension that is little known about? or it just might default to openning it for some weird reason.

You have to right click and save file as. Worked well after that. Other than not being supported by Gimp that is.
