Well, we don't have anything to tell us where your currently at coding wise. My suggestion would be to pop down to the "site reviews" forum and post some of your work there.

If you have HTML down, the next thing to learn is CSS. After that typically comes JavaScript, if you're a programming type.

Start learning your way around the W3C, they'll be your reference for a looooong time.

is a very good place to start. The w3c link Slime gave you is an invaluable resource, but the tutorial above will help get you staretd in a bit more of a user friendly manner.

reborn: I think its all been said:

1. Site reviews: Let us see what you are doing, tell us what areas you are aiming to expand your skills in and we can point you to specific resources.

2. Read up in the relevant sections of the GN's tutorials.

3. Have a nose through the FAQs there are lots of links to important resources there.

I started nearly 20 odd years ago with Basic on the trusty ZX Spectrum and later machine code and Pascal. I probably started with HTML 4-5 years ago.

no- "Use the source, Luke"

reborn, on my laptop I have some files I wrote for myself a while back . They're kinda "Everything you wanted to know about X but were afraid to ask". I got one about HTML, one on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), one on Javascript and one on the intricacies of the DOM (Document Object Module). Gimme a call and I'll show you where they are (Somewhere in the C:\Pics\School directory- forgot where exactly)
