I am attempting to put a fixed image upon my website, but do not have a desire to lose my repeating background image.

I know how to use a style sheet to make one image fixed using background coding, but I can't seem to be able to keep my general background intact adding the second fixed image.

How does one code this and can it be done?

First thing that comes to my mind is to put the image in <div> and position it via position: absolute. Set the z-index to be behind everything else....

Thank you!! I will try that. I achieved the effect I was after using a frame, but hated using that because of having to duplicate my site frameless.
