I don't know if this is the right forum for this but anyway, listen to this:

I want to have a drop-down menu on a site. (Like the menus regulary found in all windows-programs...)
So I have created a drop-down-menu with showing and hiding layers and I have put the layers in the main frame
because it won't fit in the top-frame and the layers would be cut off since they can't "float" over multiple frames.

So I have to put the drop-down-layers on each and every page to allways be able to access it, right?
But then the problem is that if I want to alter some of the menues I have to do that on EVERY SINGLE PAGE, that the
menu is found on.

That seems like an awfull lot of work, or is there any other way? Hope you could follow my explanation.
You can also look here to see it in action:

That blue menu-bar is to be on every single page if I can't come up with a better solution.

Yes, there are simpler ways of doing that, but they typically involve the use of some kind of server-side programming language like PHP or SSI. If one of these is available on your server, you'll find various tutorials about Includes and Templates on the web. The first place to go is of course the GurusNetwork:

There's also an JavaScript Includes tutorial by DmS that doesn't even require server-side stuff to work.

Hmm, I thought so..
However, I'm not a programmer.. mayby I can find one.

I guess Macromedia Coldfusion would support these kind of templates too..

You might want to look at this one! Scanspeed wrote this in CSS and it works beautiful! Maybe that will give you some ideas.

Or you may want to check out one of these groovy menus listed here

I might suggest the Milonic menu. Very easy to use and works great.
