What you're railing against Meta is a tenet of the US system of private property. The kind of thing you're advocating exists as a form of government. It's called communism. As government systems go, it's not a bad idea. But there's just as much chance for corruption and abuse there as within the one we have in America where the notion of private property prevails. |

See meta, what you - once again - fail to see, is that I (and many of the other people you seem to be 'fighting' against for no apparent reason) *do* care a great deal, and I *do* spend a lot of time identifying and working against what I perceive as problems. However, not every issue is as clear cut, black and white, good vs evil as you seem to want to make every fucking thing. |

Uhhh Metahedron, you do come from this planet, don't you? Good, glad to hear you're 'fighting' it out. But shouldn't you first check to make sure who your enemies are first? I don't think that ANYONE here constitutes the name 'Enemy of Art'. On the contrary, I see a lot of realistic, down-to-earth artists here. You want to change society? To what? Before you go fuck with what is, first sit down and think about what it should be, and the consequences that it would have AS A WHOLE. I don't know how you're going to change the minds of all the greedy ****ers out there without resorting to some sort of mind-control. As for a 'property-less' society, some American Indian tribes did have this type of mentality. But then came 'someone' else, with more power, and changed it. And that's the problem. I choose adaptability over conflict, when I see that 'fighting it out' is just not a winning strategy. |

Well, I did try and start some silliness with this topic, but somehow it ended up being political. There is very little that can be done with our current system, and I'm not about to start fighting it here. Most of the people here are actually quite intellgent, legitimate artists (myself excluded, of course) and are perfectly capable of handling the business end of art on their own. |
