I recently corresponded with a guy named Paul, in Australia. I've taken up watching Aussie Rules Football (for those that don't know what "footy" is) and during the course of our emails I may have offended him, since I haven't heard from him since. |

I am unfamiliar with the term, sorry I can't help with that. I must say however that if this person is that easily offended, why would you want him as a friend? I mean, sooner or later you would say something wrong, and there's goes the friendship. It's like walking on egg shells and it makes you constantly fear the loss of the relationship. |

Why don't you just email him and ask him? That would be the quickest way to find out. If he doesn't reply, then you know that he is actively ignoring you, and if he does he'll probably be able to give you a quick explanation of why he's been busy. |

Yeah, I've never heard of the term "going to the brit' either. If you'd said that to me before this post I'd just assume your a tad loopy of something ?? But then again, nothing anyone says in here throws me off anymore. |

I've certainly never heard of that particular phrase before. 'Splashing your boots' I've heard often used, and of course, the good ol Pommie (prisoner of mother england), but never 'going to the brit.' Mebbie it has something to do with the fact that the first 'water closet' was used in england? Who knows? |

When I saw the topic name I instantly thought about my old comp.... the thing was standing on the ground and had a really large 'reset' button. In the beginning, I used to press that reset button with my foot without noticing, and I wondered what would be wrong with the computer... |
