What is everyone's preferred code editor for PHP? And if so, why? |

Notepad or HTML Beauty although TP's editor seems to offer the trimmed down kind of functionality I'm looking for: |

Started using Emacs a couple of weeks ago and it's great. Got built in syntax highlightnig for most languages (php, html, perl, c/c++ etc) and it is easy to use. The only 'problem' is that you have to install Linux to use it |

Homesite (or HTML beauty for that matter) doesn't touch the code you write unless you ask it to by using codesweeper or similar. It's a text editor with a lot of functions like project management snippets color coding, stuff like that. It's NOT a wysiwyg that generates code for you. You write... |
