I just recently hear of this: http://www.php.net/manual/en/class.com.php
and thought it would be nice to share, and I have a question, I want to have it open up winamp, but I'm not sure what to do to get it to work, I tried opening winamp.application but that didn't work, so does anyone know what I need to put to get it to open?

Every Windows software developer should know about Microsoft's Component Object Model and its derivates (COM+, ActiveX, etc.) Basically, COM is just an improved version of old OLE (Object Linking & embedding) technology. Also, note that COM will be replaced with .NET technology in the future...

BTW My HTML editor (HTML Beauty) uses COM to access MS Word, when performing spell / grammar check...

lol they finally implemented it... thats funny.... although i couldn't use something like that becuase I use *nix for servers. I find them more robust for servers and windows better for desktops....
