So, where the hell have I been? Well here and there. Doing what? Well this and that.....but mostly this:

My band (Infernus) is doing our CD Release on April 22nd...guaranteed to be an absolutely stupid time had by all....and luckily for a record that we're proud of.
So what's to say? Well none of you will be there that I know of...so...I give you the radio-friendly single....or unfriendly...but hell it gets play.

Pandora

So, keep the following in mind.
1) Most of you won't enjoy this.
2) Those of you that do might have issues
3) Yes that's me, ask if you can't figure it out
4) Andre's the man and he'll stab your ass if you don't get it

Aside from that...well there's nothing....so carry on.

This is not the sort of music I usually listen to, but it is the sort of music I used to listen to. While it may not be my current cup of tea, I can appreciate the artistry here. And I have to say that, overall, yeah, I like it. Not sure if I would listen to it on a regular basis, but I think it was crafted very well. Bravo.

Reminds me a bit of SOAD. Not the kind of music I listen to all the time but definitely something to throw in the playlist for a good workout or when I feel like getting out and driving fast.

I think it's pretty kick ass

but...

its a bit too "gothic" and dark...

I have changed my taste in metal/rock

I prefare a bit more style...perhaps throw in a keyboard a bit...maybe throw in more tunes for guitar and such...

well, great job and congrats!

P.S. I like the vocalist

You guys will have more to say if Pete offers the whole album for everyone to listen to. Of course, I am kind of biased...

It's also very understandable that Infernus isn't the music you'd expect to hear - it's much more than that. I was especially blown away by DG's vocal range - you know, for a HUGE bouncer-type kinda guy, you'd expect to hear a really deep voice down in the lower range notes. And for a band of seven memebers, I think the musäk comes together rather complementarily.

I'm still anxiously awaiting the arrival of my signed album :P It's gold Jerry, gold!

I like it! Reminds of Kyuss, a little, actually. My brother-in-law will really dig it - I'll have to send him the link to the track for perusal.

Kudos for living the dream! Fantastic job, and I hope it sells well. Looking forward to the video on Fuse!

I didn't like the intro, however, the rest of the song has a very nice mood. Good job

Well, well DG, this piece is nice...
Now I fully excpect you to throw up at that comment since "nice" probably isn't the reaction that kind of music should evoke.

No, really
I listen to almost everything except trance/euro-techno and stuff like that.
My favorites are mainly amongst guitar based metal/traditional hardrock/blues/fusion things, a lot of old school (Accept, Judas Priest, POD, RHCP, Deep Purple, Queensryche and many, many more).
A while back I wrote and recorded 4 songs of my own stuff (+ about 20-30 songs still waiting) featuring me and me alone.

I do have some small criterias that I'd like to have met in music that I like.

1 - It should surprise me at some point
- Yours did! Vocally you work very nicely with your voice from spot on the notes, to sliding on the borders of uncomfortable blue notes, well done. The music has some nice tempo- and mood-shifts that makes it more interesting.

2 - It should make me tap my foot
Yup, you nailed that one too, found myself bobbing my head and tapping along starting somewhere in the middle of the song on the first listen.

If I'd whish for one thing it's a little more nerve on the vocals, I realize that you probably had a bunch of takes behind you once you nailed a good one, but at some points in the song I'd like you to get angry at me, convince me, provoke me... you get the idea.
On the other hand, this is one song from an album, who am I to know what you do on the rest...

I like this! Quite a lot actually.
Holler when it's released and I just might order one for shipment to an overaged metal fan (39) in sweden

Good work, a record is a nice trophy to put on the wall.

There's no such thing as an overaged fan, since I'm almost 30 and so are a couple members of the band.

Thanks guys, seriously. It's been a labour of love (sometimes) and definitely fun to do. The CD release is shaping up to be a retarded fiasco...and I'm trying to see if we can get all the video footage that night transferred digitally for the site.

Yeah...the site.

That's not done yet.

*cough*

I slack...it's my nature.

I'm glad people are enjoying it...it means a lot

I really liked it. The song, I liked the switches kind of drives you in a different direction. I like that. I thought the vocals could use a little something but can't quite put my finger on it. Kind of like Billy Corgan meets Pantera.

Definatly something that will stay in my play list a while.
