But i could not find the specifications from the msx keyboard, which should be used again, to fit on the new mainboard. The idea then was killed. But maybe some day i will build my msx-itx... It would have possibly been a lot cheaper and easier to do that one with laptop parts though. Personally, I prefer it when you reverse the idea -- build the old console parts into a standard PC Box, keeping the PC in tact. I've seen this down with a PSX, which had custom ports for the PSX controller/cards, the CD loading section was molded into the side of the case and the video signal was somehow spliced into the monitor display. I think I origionally saw it posted on this forum actually. Now if you could make a machine that had beefy P4, Xbox, PS2, Game-Cube and a Dream Cast (maybe a n64, Sega Genesis, SNES and an ATARI for good measure) all in the one box then you'd have the next best thing to sex on tap, or would it be better than that too? Then again, I've always been one of those that think emulatiors kill the experience of classic gaming. I still have several old console systems all hooked up to my TV -- Classics never die.
