a) *pats TP on the head* it's ok, the whole web heard you are proud of your work, and everybody read your opinion on the above matter, that was not my point. c) and? What does it have to do with one person only being able to ban or unban? And does it involve banning as THE immediate solution? That's what the discussion is about imho, and that's why Mage opened this thread: "Play straight/will do the same" does not imply "we'll punish you b33tch if you play nasty". That would be somethingleet's warning, not ours. And that's exactly what makes me fear the worse with banning accessible to Mad Scis: if Mad Sci activity is not logged, some funny guy could go around blocking users and remain unknown. Now do we want to create a whole "institution" and plenty of tools to avoid banning incidents? Or should we rely on one.. reliable person to hold the keys to sensitive features? ... I also remember the Doc stating it was silly to ban by username because then the troll could change his name and come back, but that's another story. Instead he recommended to ignore trolls, and I think it is wiser. Now I said it all, you said it all, don't be that sensitive girl, and let others talk, 'k?
