Why is my name not working on this Linkword thing? Also, perhaps there should be a list of available linkwords so we can know what all words are linkwords.

And why isn't the internallink thing listed on the UBB Help? Are there other UBB things we should know about also?

internallink: that's because it's internal - it's just here to support the old faq links. You can use it, but it's not... official.

All pages with linkwords list their linkword in the upper right corner. A list of all linkwords - there are thousands of em...
and yes [id] put's the appropriate symbol next to it. Even for threads:

yes. the -> marks it as a linkword. All hell broke loose when we didn't have that (and that's not just because ->because...

I can't believe we have an inmate named "because." Then again, we probably have the proper inmates to do our own "Who's on first?" routine...
