I need some easy instructions for creating a pic of text with a transparent background in photoshop 8.0. I have tried and tried and tried. It almost always comes out with a white background. |

1) Make sure that the background of your PSD is transparent. |

Transfer it to Image Ready and save it as either a 24bit PNG or a gif. Task completed . I don't have PS CS, though. To set the format use the Optimization pallette. |

Why would you waste the time to transfer it to Image Ready when PS is fully capable of saving transparent .GIFs and PNGs? |
