Topic awaiting preservation: playing with functions in POV-Ray

the image itself is quite old, i just forgot to post it somewhere. I tried to play with some functions, since I saw functions used in a POV-pong between grumble and slime. nothing big though....i just thought that the 3d forum gets too little attention :-|

the images has something, though I don't care for the distorted checkers background.

You should do something about that url, though. read up on cool urls don't change and feel free to ask if you need help with the appropriate htaccess file.
(Parameters should be used for just that - not for selecting content.)

As it is, it doesn't make your portifolio look professional...
(though I should probably shut up, not having one myself.)

ah thx for that cool urls dont change.......and about the professional look....well.....shoot your thoughts, i am always open for improvements (althought i wont have time for changes )

well... I'd start with a simple .htaccess rewrite rule maping your
http://www.thespacebetweenus.com/portfolio/showimage.php?image_id=2
to
http://www.thespacebetweenus.com/portfolio/2 (or maybe http://www.thespacebetweenus.com/portfolio/image_2)
it basically involves putting
RewriteEngine
RewriteRule (regexps) (target)
into an .htaccess - see either the grail code for an example, or the mod rewrite documentation for the RewriteRule chapter.
