Just so you guys know, I've been having slight login problems. A few times today I've replied to posts, typed my user name and password correctly, and clicked submit and I was told my password is incorrect. I checked several times and both password and user name were correct.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I haven't had that problem but noticed the Asylum was "down" this afternoon. Some PHP errors even poked their nose at time.

BTW congrats to the persons involved in the fix 'cause when you see an error message ( a 'simple' invalid argument in a foreach and in another function AFAIR ) around the line 1665, you can fear ( by the number of line and thus the size of the whole project ) than something really bad happen.

poi: As far as I know no-one had to break or fix anything (TP wasn't online at least, so it can't have been him), it seems to have been another Dreamhost database glitch.

I also assume your login problems must have been due to this, Jestah, though if they reappear, let us know.

yeah - I got the error message 5 times via my icq when I came back online. Reads like the database didn't return the the pages needed to assemble the front page. There is a todo entry that basically reads 'well, ignore it if the database doesn't return it' - but I didn't get around to implement it yet. Sorry.

kuckus: oh... so, congrats to the sys admins at Dreamhost.
When I saw the PHP error I thought someone was working on the API rolling the new Asylum without any safe guard like an IP/login restriction to prevent anyone to be affected by the work in progress. The possibility that it could come from the host didn't popped in my mind

I haven't had the problem again but I don't believe it was because of the downtime. I was having the problem both before and after the Asylum's downtime. If I have it again I'll post how it came about.

poi: We don't work on this system - worst case is that during upload, the asylum will break for a couple of seconds. But that should be rare.
