So I was linkwhoring a bit...

Long story short, my band is in a little online competition. We sort of attracted just a wee bit of attention when a couple friends posted our listening and voting links on their frontpages. Huge shitstorm of controversy when votes poured in. The hate mail is fun at times, funny at others, and just damned annoying for the rest.

However...

Ah well... Most bands in online competitions are linkwhores. I wouldn't feel guilty either. That's just the way things are, the way they've always been. The only people who usually get pissed off are the ones who didn't think of it or do it first.

I liked "Seeking Asylum" best.
