No. I think it's my sketches from today. And tommorow. And from whenever.
I'll just post sketches in here as they come. Because I have nothing better to do.

5/24/04

I'm hoping these have matured a bit. Meh. They still suck though.

C&C would be appreciated, however/

Well, I think it's a little weird that you're going to be posting your sketches in the photoshop forums :P but regardless, I really enjoy the top two. If those girls were to materialize I'd imagine they'd be beautiful, exotic women, maybe the first would be more alien in nature, or extremely modified (as in tattoos.... which turns me on).

I concur with I X I, the face on the last pic has a lot of personality. Maybe its because the other two at the top just look like your generic unhappy young lady. Not that they are bad, but they are nothing special either. And uslling a rollerball pen really kills it. Just look at the ones with pencil, they are more attarctive to the eye, and have a better definition of the outline and important parts.

Today wasn't very productive, and I'm not particularly happy with it, either. I had a lot of time yesterday.
The landscape will eventually be a finished drawing (for drawing class, one of a few sketches).

I hate color, but I guess this is ok:

Again, C&C appreciated.

Not too proud with these. They were a lot more casual than the others; speedy.

I think Iget more drawing done when I'm supposed to be learning than learning when I'm supposed to be drawing.

trying a sketchier style:

Nice. Flicked through the lot, as you do, and got stuck on that last one (6-01-04_1.jpg)...

Something about the girl in the inset...

I love it when sketchwork makes me feel like that.

There is a certain unfocused motion to your work. I think I will be returning.

Unfocused motion; did I really type that? I really must keep track.

When you fill a page with sketchwork (or doodles, perhaps), the page almost becomes a record of a creative thought process.
It can be chaotic and changeable - say, when you are fishing around for creative ideas, or just bored.
It can be uniform or repetitive - bored again, or unconsciously practicing?
It can express the evolution of an idea or even betray the subconscious.

It is possible that it can also be pointless scribble - doodling on the phone?

Some of your sketches seem to be developing a theme by gradual degrees while your skill and confidence advance. While there is no strict unity between the components of your sketches, it is possible to see your style evolve.

Unfocused motion?

I really like your work.

Whitehawk: heh, yeah. It's a lot of doodling during class, but I've seen I (subconsciously) draw a lot of the same stuff...over and over and over again. Slightly different. Usually I just put down a line, then another, and see where it goes from there. Thanks

Amerasu: Thank you I'll try to work on that.

6-3-04

Just some sketching in artrage. Nothing special.

That's interesting.

I'm male, and just turned 16.

I guess I don't have a reason regarding why I draw so many girls. They're just more fun to draw, I guess.

Why, exactly?

Last one on the right is very stylistic. I like it.

Why don't you try posting some of this stuff on Concept Art, CB.. There's a forum there devoted just to people's sketch books. You'll probably get some good feedback there.

I prefer drawing females too, and I'm female.

Ok, I haven't been drawing much of anything. school has been consuming every waking hour of mine, but I finally sketched for the first time in about two or three days. But I'll stick it in a link, since it sucks, it's on lined paper, and it has school notes on it. (6/8/04)

Considering your age, your sketches are exceptional. Again, when do we get to see a complete work?

Regarding 'the last one on the right' with "jailbait" scribbled in next to it. Why on Earth has she got bandaged stumps instead of limbs?? That's not just stylistic, it's almost disturbing. lol

No offence.

Thank you White Hawk

Regarding finished works, I guess I'd have to do one some time, as much as I hate them (because I can never develop anything), and now has presented a pretty good opprotunity.

For a school project. I guess I could poll someone, but which of the following would be best for a finished work, blown up fairly large?

These are the thumbnail sketches I've done. Half of them suck, but eh, whatever (6/13/04):

(I've also been trying to develop the style a little bit more, although I still don't have that strong a grip on normal anatomy (only in general terms, and not as well as I should), but eh, I'm trying.

1. 2.

3. 4.

Anyways, again, c&c (as in ripped apart) is always helpful.

Some rather light-hearted (yes, i can) stuff I did at a friends house today (while watching rear window and north by northwest) (They were all done in under 2 or 3 minutes) (I've been told they are disturbing...but eh, whatever)

(ok, second one +coloring took me like 20 minutes (I'm slow), so I guess no 2/3 limit on that one)

I dunno about printing it onto T-Shirts, because it's not up to par with professional work. Then again, that's what practice is for, right?

I was thinking about printing the first one though, but my school...superiors... would go apeshit.
