UBB Help
I am sad to tell you that the alchemy of web design goes this way: you just can't have a design that works fully on all platforms without either sticking to the most basic html, or staying as close as possible to web standards, or use "forks" and have different pages for different browsers, served depending on browser sniffing tricks. It IS made this way, and I regret to tell you that while this place is a great place to get some help, we don't have the power to reinvent the wheel eventhough it obviously is a square wheel. This said, I admit I am lost as to what your current question is: you got to deliver the app on time and already got a working, CSS-less shell? Use it. You got to learn CSS, be ready to suffer, because web vendors still haven't managed to set one standard and strictly, blindly stick to it. ... Also, people tend to mix matters: web development, while accessible to most, IS development. It means "building software buildings". I know deadlines, know them well, but to use new materials like CSS, you need to get used to those. And using old materials like some mixed up html can lead to your building being... not really solid in the long term. So depending on the needs and the web app that you are editing, make things clear to you, first, and your boss, next. ... I'd be glad to help: at the moment, I need a single, simple question I can answer to do so: I am lost. How can I help you?
