It's... quite.... weird: answer a, obvious, compare. Take the stylesheets and compare them, find the missing ; or whatever can cause this. Another css thing I experienced: IE behaves oddly when no positionning type is specified for elements. Could it be that? Could it be that some element has a position: relative which is missing in the other stylesheet? I KNOW IE doesn't fully apply styles, like z-index, to things that don't have a specific positionning. My 2 cents.
