Hi all..

I'm a new member in this great forum.. And this is my 1st thread here..

I'd like to ask abaut the famos multimedia playe "QuickTime"..
My Question says: Why do most sites use "QuickTime" to view videos or to add downloads whith the extention ".mov" that useually works on "QuickTime" player?

thats my Q. And I have a little request:
What is the best program to convert between video files extentins? and I heared about a program that convets [any extention] ---to---> [any extention]? please attach download links if possible..

quicktime is just a nice format that's very cross-platform compatible, its also "scrubbable" (you can go back and forth easily, frame-by-frame if you want). as far as a utility to convert i think virtual dub may do what you want, check out http://www.virtualdub.org/
