Maybe XMLspay and IExplore share a component to render xml pages, and that component (software) is corrupt :) Because your xml is valid indeed. And IE doesn't even need a mime type to use xsl stylesheets as xsl stylesheets. Does the same thing happen in Mozilla? If not, it is a hint that the problem could be a software problem shared between IE and XMLspy. My, this is getting interesting... hold on, fiddling.
